Without a doubt, one of the best investments we could make in our lives is our health and thus, the famous adage goes; ‘health is wealth’. This is especially even more true now in our generation, when there had been a noticeable increase of younger people being at risk of ailments such as heart diseases, kidney problems, diabetes, and other diseases that used to be more frequent for those of the older age.

According to the Cardio Metabolic Institute, their studies suggests that the increasing number of heart attacks occurring for people in their 20s and 30s have been increasing on a steady rate of 2% every year since the early 2000s and this could be due to a number of reasons; mostly environmental factors especially when the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic had also been suspected of increasing the risk of heart attacks for previous patients, but most importantly, due to the increasing trend of unhealthy lifestyle practices – Fastfood indulgence being the number one culprit.
